How to make the Closed on Sunday AI video
To make a Closed on Sunday AI video, upload one photo of yourself or your pet, choose a choir and wait a few minutes: you get a 14-second 16:9 MP4 of you standing still in the middle of a singing choir, plus a 9:16 copy for TikTok. No app, no reference clip and no prompt.
Overview
The 4 steps
- 01
Add one photo
One person or one pet, face clearly visible, JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB.
- 02
Pick the choir
Choose one of 12 choirs or describe your own in up to 160 characters.
- 03
Wait a few minutes
A clean picture of your lead is drawn first, then the 14-second choir shot is filmed around it. You can leave the page.
- 04
Download and post
Save the 16:9 MP4, a vertical 9:16 copy or a silent copy, then post with #closedonsunday.
Step 1: choose the right photo
The photo decides who stands in the middle, so it matters more than anything else. For a person, use a sharp photo taken in daylight, facing the camera, with one person only. Glasses and hats are kept. For the stillest result, pick a photo with a calm face and a closed mouth.
- Formats: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- One person or one pet per photo; group photos confuse the model.
- No public figures and no one under 18 (see our rules).
- For pets: the whole animal visible, eyes open, good light. Read the cat and dog guide.
Step 2: pick or write the choir
The 12 preset choirs are tuned looks: the original beige robes, cats, dogs, Halloween skeletons, pumpkin heads, zombies, angels, penguins, frogs, teddy bears, little green aliens and grandmas. To write your own, describe who the singers are in a few words, for example “golden retrievers in hoodies” or “zombie nurses in white uniforms”. Keep it under 160 characters, do not name real people or brands, and pick something that contrasts with your lead: a ginger cat stands out more in a skeleton choir than in a cat choir. See every choir.
Step 3: wait a few minutes
Behind the button there are three stages. First GPT Image 2 draws a clean, full-body picture of your lead from the photo. Then MiniMax H3 films the 14-second shot, following a faceless depth map of the original choir scene so the crowd and camera move like the original. Finally the video passes an automated safety check. Your video credit is only used if the video finishes; if anything fails, it goes back to your balance.
Step 4: download and post
Every finished video has three downloads: the 16:9 MP4 (1344×768, with our original gospel choir track), a TikTok version (9:16) built in your browser with the full scene centred on a blurred background, and a silent copy for adding your own sound. To use the original song, add it from the TikTok or Instagram sound library when you post and lower the original sound. Tag it #closedonsunday.
Three ways to make it, compared
| Route | Steps | Result |
|---|---|---|
| One-photo maker (this site) | Photo → choir → wait | You filmed inside the scene, 14 s, from $6.90 |
| General AI video tool | Find a reference clip, write a prompt, retry until the lead stays centred | Varies by prompt; pay per try |
| CapCut template | Pick template, drop in a clip | Free, but your clip sits on top of the scene |

Fixes for common problems
- The face does not look like me: use a sharper, front-facing photo with even light; avoid heavy filters.
- The lead moves their lips: try a photo with a closed mouth, or a pet; email us if the face is clearly wrong.
- My typed choir was refused: remove real names, brands and anything violent or adult.
- It says my photo cannot be used: the safety check declined it; try an everyday photo of one adult or pet.
Answers
How-to FAQ
01What is the fastest way to make the Closed on Sunday AI video?
Upload one photo to a one-photo maker like this one, pick a choir and wait a few minutes. There is no reference clip to download and no prompt to write; the 14-second choir shot is built in.
02What photo works best?
One person or one pet, facing the camera, face sharp and well lit, nothing covering the face. A waist-up or full-body photo lets the model keep your clothes; a close crop of the face also works.
03How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes: about 30 seconds to draw a clean picture of your lead, then the video model films the 14-second shot. You can leave the page; the video waits under Your videos.
04How do I post it on TikTok with the original song?
Download the TikTok version (9:16) or the silent copy, upload it to TikTok, tap Add sound, search "Closed on Sunday" in the sound library and turn the original video volume down to zero.
05What if the person in the middle moves their lips?
The model is told to keep the lead still and silent, and pets stay still reliably. People sometimes move their lips or smile. A front-facing photo with a neutral, closed-mouth expression gives the best chance of a perfectly still lead.
